Spicewood Family Church wants to unleash the God given powers of Love, Hope, Peace, Mercy, and Grace to the people of Spicewood, Marble Falls and the Greater Austin areas. We believe by being the Love of Christ, revealing the Hope found in His living word, demonstrating His Peace that passes all understanding, teaching His Mercy which is true forgiveness, and giving His Grace to all we encounter that Christ Jesus will prevail in our community.

To secure the lost, abandoned, puzzled, bewildered, perplexed, engrossed, preoccupied, absorbed, astray, entranced, mystified, and vulnerable people of this area in the saving grace of Jesus Christ in agreement with

Mark 16:15
and He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

To empower, equip, and train new and old believers eager and enthusiastic for their ministries in Jesus Christ in agreement with

Ephesians 4:11-12
for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ

To launch, propel, and sustain people in the ministries preordained to them by Jesus Christ in agreement with

Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.objective2.JPG

As a life-giving church of Jesus Christ, we will strive to become
People of grace where the people can come and discover Jesus Christ without condemnation or embarrassment
People who nurture and cultivate the new and fragile in faith with encouragement and strengthen them with participation in a Christian community
People of fulfillment where people are matured with motivating Bible teaching, equipped to serve, and vested in God’s field
People of family values that recognize marriage, parenting, and family relationships as top priority of the church and God
People that reach out to find practical and relevant ways to serve our neighbors in order to help people to discover eternal life in Jesus Christ
People of power and gifts given by the Holy Spirit to empower them to live the Christian life and minister to others
People of freedom who experience true victory and liberty over life controlling habits, sin, and spiritual battles
People of prayer who enjoy a dynamic relationship of daily communication with the real God
